Experience Factory Antwerp welcomes every generation: mini karting from around 2-3 years old (accompanied), the main karting circuit from 1m30 tall (roughly age 7-8), Time Mission from age 6 (accompanied up to age 13), axe throwing from age 14, and no age limit at all for karaoke, quiz game or the arcade.
General / About
Yes, Experience Factory has two locations in Belgium: one in Antwerp, and one in the German-speaking region, in Eupen.
You can combine up to ten different activities under one roof: karting, mini karting, Time Mission, axe throwing, interactive darts, karaoke, quiz game, arcade (40+ games), billiards and car expo, plus food, drinks and a 2,000m² rooftop terrace to unwind in between. Most groups combine 2-3 activities through one of our packs (€39-79).
Our name has two meanings: first, our venues are always located in or near industrial zones; second, we don’t manufacture physical products, we’re a different kind of factory, one that manufactures experiences.
For many years, this building was home to General Motors’ Plant 1, a landmark deeply rooted in Antwerp’s industrial history that stood abandoned for around twenty years. Today it’s coming back to life, and Experience Factory Antwerp is proud to be part of that revival.
Yes. These cars carry forward the DNA of the building (a former General Motors factory) and add to the overall atmosphere of the venue, so the exhibition is free to view.
Thanks to our relationships with local partners, we have 3 car boxes showcasing exceptional or for-sale vehicles. These car boxes are also available to companies wanting to showcase a car, or any other standout item, for a promotion or teambuilding event.
Under one single roof, you’ll find a huge range of activities, and each one has been built to be best-in-class in its own right. Nowhere else will you find this concentration of different activities in a space this large.
Yes, we have a rooftop terrace of over 2,000m², large enough to host big groups and events. During the World Cup, for example, we screened matches there and added outdoor games open to everyone.
Our activities are spread across 15,000m² of space, making Experience Factory Antwerp the largest indoor entertainment venue in Europe.
Yes, Experience Factory Antwerp is designed for every age. From age 3, kids can enjoy mini karting and the arcade, while adults and seniors will find just as much fun in karaoke or the quiz game. There’s something for every generation.
Experience Factory Antwerp is simply Belgium’s largest multi-activity centre, there’s something for everyone: karting, Time Mission, axe throwing, darts, karaoke, quiz game, arcade, billiards, mini karting and more.
Experience Factory Antwerp is located just north of the city centre, right off the Noorderlaan. We’re housed in the former General Motors factory, renovated by the Beerens Group, you’ll find us on the 4th floor, above the B2Cars showroom. (Address : Michiganstraat 1, 2030 Antwerp, Belgium)
Experience Factory Antwerp is Europe’s largest indoor entertainment centre, spanning 15,000m². This modern multi-activity complex brings together karting, Time Mission (social gaming), karaoke, axe throwing, darts, quiz game, arcades and much more, all under one roof.
Time Mission
Time Mission is our large-scale action game, and one of our most popular teambuilding activities in Antwerp. Up to 23 teams of 2 to 5 people compete across 25 different rooms, taking on challenges built around speed, memory, logic, cohesion and general knowledge, putting several senses to the test. It works from small teams up to 100+ people at once, ideal for company teambuildings.
Yes, the minimum age to enter Time Mission is 6 years old. Ages 6-13 must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 14+ can play on their own.
A session lasts at least 1 hour, though you can book 2 hours if you like. In an hour you’ll get through most of the rooms, but completing all 25 isn’t guaranteed.
Time Mission is played in teams of 2 to 5 people. We can host up to 23 teams at once, that’s up to 115 people in a single one-hour slot.
Expect a mix of strategy, logic, speed, physical and mental challenges, different skills are tested throughout, so every team member gets a moment to shine.
An hour of Time Mission starts from €28. As always, we recommend one of our packs to make the most of everything on site.
Time Mission is an immersive team game (social gaming) inspired by escape rooms and video games, where teams of 2 to 5 players move through more than 25 rooms of short interactive challenges (1 to 5 minutes each) to score points.
Karting – General & Safety
Our karts at Antwerp are electric: they now match the performance of classic petrol (thermal) karts, while being safer thanks to our 4 progressive speed levels. They’re also quieter, produce no exhaust fumes (ideal for an indoor venue), won’t leave a petrol smell on your clothes, and carry no risk of oil or fuel stains. All the thrill of speed, none of the drawbacks of a petrol engine.
Our karting track is 1.1km long, quite simply the longest electric karting track in Europe. Its design, three levels and banked corners make it a truly unique circuit worth the detour for any thrill-seeker, or anyone passing near Antwerp.
The Junior Academy is a driving school that teaches children karting in the best possible conditions. We run 2 sessions a month, every other Sunday starting at 8:15am and finishing by 11am.
At Antwerp, our karts are electric. They now perform just as well as petrol karts, while being safer thanks to our different speed levels. They’re also greener, won’t leave a petrol smell on your clothes, and carry no risk of oil or fuel stains.
We don’t currently have duo karts or adapted karts for reduced-mobility guests at Antwerp. If you’d like to try duo karting, our sister site in Eupen has two duo karts available.
Given the track’s length and unique width, up to 32 drivers could technically race at once. However, to keep the experience at its best, we’ve deliberately capped it at 28 drivers for Fun sessions and 16 for Start sessions.
Wear something loose enough to move freely in, casual or sporty clothing works best. If you have long hair, tuck it into your t-shirt or top. Footwear must fully cover your feet, so no heels, flip-flops or Crocs-style shoes.
Besides the mandatory helmet, you must wear a balaclava if you use one of our helmets (€2, or bring your own). Gloves are also mandatory, again, you can bring your own pair as long as they fully cover the hand and offer decent grip, or buy a pair from us for €4.
A racing suit isn’t required, and we don’t provide one. A helmet, however, is mandatory, we provide these free of charge, but you’re welcome to bring your own as long as it has a chin strap (full-face and motocross helmets are fine, open-face/jet helmets are not). If you use one of our helmets, wearing a balaclava is compulsory.

You need to be at least 1m30 tall for a junior kart, and around 1m50 for an adult kart.
Speed mostly comes down to the driver and their experience. To keep things fun and safe for everyone, we’ve set up 4 speed levels drivers progress through.
It’s really more about height than age: you need to be at least 1m30 tall to drive a kart (usually around age 7-8), we have 8 junior karts for this. For the adult karts, you’ll feel most comfortable from about 1m50. Importantly, a junior kart can go just as fast as an adult kart during the same session. Children under 1m30 can enjoy our mini karts from age 3, accompanied by an adult.
Karting – Speed & Licences
Not at the moment, we currently have no competitions in Speed 5. We may organise some in the future, so feel free to follow us on social media to keep up with our latest news.
The Gold licence is awarded if you complete 3 laps under 1:10 within the same session. If you manage it, just come to the reception desk to claim your licence. Once you have it, you’ll be allowed to drive in Speed 5.
To keep the experience optimal for everyone, we use a licence system. The best-known is the Gold licence, which unlocks Speed 5, earned by hitting a lap-time quota (3 laps under 1:10) during Speed 4 (Race) sessions. There are two more: Bronze, awarded to children who hit a quota during Start sessions (3 laps under 2:00), letting them move up to Fun sessions even if they’re under 10; and Silver, awarded to children who hit a quota during Fun sessions (3 laps under 1:25), letting them move up to Race sessions even if they’re under 14. Licences aren’t automatic, after your session, just ask at reception whether you’ve qualified. If so, it’ll be activated for your next visit.
We have 4 speed levels. Start (Speed 2): compulsory for all children under 10, accompanying parents/adults drive at the same speed, keeping the focus on the kids’ experience. Fun (Speed 3): ideal for casual drivers who just want to have a good time, already a decent pace, and compulsory for anyone under 14. Race (Speed 4): for experienced drivers, noticeably faster than most tracks, so it’s best to have driven a kart several times before trying it, even as an adult with some driving experience. Pro (Speed 5): reserved for drivers holding a Gold licence, earned by meeting a lap-time quota during Race sessions.
Axe Throwing
An hour of axe throwing costs €28 per person, or you can start with a 30-minute session for €14.
No, you’ll pick it up quickly. We recommend starting two-handed (raising the axe above your head), and once you’re comfortable and can throw with good balance using your dominant hand, you can move to one-handed throws.
Yes, a supervisor is present at the start of each session to explain how it works. Despite the impression it gives, axe throwing is a low-risk activity: each lane is a separate caged area with an anti-rebound floor, and only one person is ever in a cage at a time.
You must be at least 14 years old to try axe throwing.
Axe throwing is like darts, XXL-style: you hold an axe, aim at a target, and try to hit it. What makes it unique here is the interactive games projected onto the targets and automatic scoring, no more paper, pencils or manual maths, everything’s tracked automatically.
Interactive Darts
An hour of darts costs €10 per person.
We have 6 dart lanes, each accommodating up to 8 players.
Darts has been a crowd-pleaser for decades, simple and accessible for everyone. We’ve added modern technology on top: automatic scoring and a range of different games, so you can focus on playing instead of doing the maths.
Karaoke
Yes, very activity here can be booked on its own or combined with others, so yes, you can come just for karaoke.
An hour of karaoke costs €10 per person, or you can start with a 30-minute session for €7.
We have two rooms that fit up to 8 people, plus one larger room for bigger groups of 8 to 16.
Yes, our three karaoke rooms are private, just for your group, booking is for a minimum of 4 people per room.
Quiz Game
An hour of Quiz Game costs €14 per person.
Quiz Game is booked for a minimum of 4 people. We have 6 consoles that can be played solo or in duos, so the room holds up to 12 people at once.
Whether you’re with family, friends or colleagues, there’s one rule: beat everyone else! Take your seat at your console, keep an eye on your opponents, and get ready for rapid-fire questions on movies & series, cartoons, video games, history & geography, science & nature, sports, pop culture, music and more, something for every kind of quiz lover.
Mini Karting (kids)
A 5-minute mini karting session costs €6.
Mini karting doesn’t require a reservation. We have 6 mini karts and each session lasts 5 minutes, so waiting times are usually short.
Mini karts easily support the combined weight of an adult and a child. For very young children, we recommend a parent rides along; once they’re confident, kids can ride solo. As soon as they reach 1m30 tall, they can move up to the main karts.
From around 2-3 years old, a child can ride a mini kart as long as they’re accompanied; from about 4-5 they’re usually able to ride on their own.
Gaming Arcade
Yes, you can buy arcade credits on their own if you like, our activity packs, by contrast, bundle a mix of different activities, not just arcade credits.
We use a credit system: €17 gets you 30 credits, and each game costs between 1 and 5 credits to play, depending on the machine.
We have more than 40 arcade machines, air hockey, motorbike racing, claw machines, Need for Speed, Halo, basketball and more, something to keep everyone entertained.
Business Events & Teambuilding
Organising a teambuilding is never simple, everyone wants something different, and you need to balance fun with real team cohesion. Experience Factory Antwerp checks every box: multiple activities across 15,000m², easy access and on-site parking, tailor-made formulas, in-house catering, and the capacity to host anything from a small team to a 750-person event.
It’s best to plan at least 6 weeks ahead, and even earlier for bigger events. That said, if it’s a last-minute request, we can usually still look at solutions internally.
Aside from our briefing room, a closed room that can be booked outside our regular opening hours, our main hall with its big screens is available for displaying your logo, running a conference or giving a presentation. Keep in mind, though, that this space isn’t ideal for confidential presentations, especially during opening hours.
The price of a teambuilding in Antwerp depends on your group size, the activities you choose and any catering. We have a package for every budget, request a free, no-obligation quote and we’ll tailor it to your team.

Yes, hosting large groups is one of Experience Factory Antwerp’s strengths, we can organise teambuildings, events and more for groups of up to 750 people.

Booking ahead is always recommended so you get the time slot that suits you best, some sessions (like ‘Start’ karting slots for younger kids) only run at specific times of day, so the more specific your plans, the more it pays to book. That said, you’re never obliged to: walk-ins on a spur-of-the-moment visit are just as welcome.

Yes, the Overdrive deal is also available in Speed 5, but on Mondays only.

Pricing & Payment
For maximum flexibility, every activity can be booked and paid for individually. That said, based on our experience running the venue, we’ve also built Packs that bundle access to several activities together.
To make paying easier and more convenient, you can top up a ‘wallet’ on your account and use it for activities, drinks, food, lockers and more. Wallets can be shared with family or friends, and the more you top up, the more bonus credit you get, for example, deposit €48 and receive €50 of wallet credit, or deposit €185 and get €200. This is especially good value for groups.
Online, you can pay by Mastercard or Visa. On site, Visa and Mastercard are accepted, and you can also pay cash at reception, note that cash isn’t accepted at the bar, but you can top up your ‘wallet’ account with cash at reception instead.
