More than 300 people can be active at the same time, which comes to a capacity of more than 600 people an hour. In practice: 115 players in Time Mission, 50 in the gaming arcades, 48 at the interactive darts, 32 drivers on the kart track, 32 in the karaoke boxes, 30 throwers at the axe throwing, 20 at the bar games and 12 in the quiz. Large groups therefore do not run in rotation, and nobody stands waiting.

Experience Factory Antwerp welcomes every generation: mini karting from around 2-3 years old (accompanied), the main karting circuit from 1m30 tall (roughly age 7-8), Time Mission from age 6 (accompanied up to age 13), axe throwing from age 14, and no age limit at all for karaoke, quiz game or the arcade.

Yes, the minimum age to enter Time Mission is 6 years old. Ages 6-13 must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 14+ can play on their own.

A session lasts at least 1 hour, though you can book 2 hours if you like. In an hour you’ll get through most of the rooms, but completing all 25 isn’t guaranteed.

Time Mission is played in teams of 2 to 5 people. We can host up to 23 teams at once, that’s up to 115 people in a single one-hour slot.

Expect a mix of strategy, logic, speed, physical and mental challenges, different skills are tested throughout, so every team member gets a moment to shine.

Time Mission is an immersive team game (social gaming) inspired by escape rooms and video games, where teams of 2 to 5 players move through more than 25 rooms of short interactive challenges (1 to 5 minutes each) to score points.

Our 1.1 km track was designed and built by ProKarting, a Belgian karting track builder specialised in multi-level circuits. They engineered it from scratch for our building: the steel structure over three levels, the twin banking, the spiral-up and the illuminated arches over the track.

Our karts at Antwerp are electric: they now match the performance of classic petrol (thermal) karts, while being safer thanks to our 4 progressive speed levels. They’re also quieter, produce no exhaust fumes (ideal for an indoor venue), won’t leave a petrol smell on your clothes, and carry no risk of oil or fuel stains. All the thrill of speed, none of the drawbacks of a petrol engine.

Our karting track is 1.1km long, quite simply the longest electric karting track in Europe. Its design, three levels and banked corners make it a truly unique circuit worth the detour for any thrill-seeker, or anyone passing near Antwerp.

The Junior Academy is our karting driving school for children. It is on pause until 2027. In the meantime, children from 1m30 can drive a junior kart in our regular karting sessions, and younger children can enjoy our mini karts, accompanied by an adult.

At Antwerp, our karts are electric. They now perform just as well as petrol karts, while being safer thanks to our different speed levels. They’re also greener, won’t leave a petrol smell on your clothes, and carry no risk of oil or fuel stains.

We don’t currently have duo karts or adapted karts for reduced-mobility guests at Antwerp. If you’d like to try duo karting, our sister site in Eupen has two duo karts available.

It depends on the session. A Race session (Speed 4) takes up to 32 drivers at once, a Fun session (Speed 3) up to 28, and a Start session (Speed 2) up to 16. The length of the 1.1 km track and its unusual width are what make those numbers possible while every driver still has room to race.

Wear something loose enough to move freely in, casual or sporty clothing works best. If you have long hair, tuck it into your t-shirt or top. Footwear must fully cover your feet, so no heels, flip-flops or Crocs-style shoes.

Besides the mandatory helmet, you must wear a balaclava if you use one of our helmets. You can buy one from us for €3, or bring your own.

A racing suit isn’t required, and we don’t provide one. A helmet, however, is mandatory, we provide these free of charge, but you’re welcome to bring your own as long as it has a chin strap (full-face and motocross helmets are fine, open-face/jet helmets are not). If you use one of our helmets, wearing a balaclava is compulsory.

You need to be at least 1m30 tall for a junior kart, and around 1m50 for an adult kart.

Speed mostly comes down to the driver and their experience. To keep things fun and safe for everyone, we’ve set up 4 speed levels drivers progress through.

It’s really more about height than age: you need to be at least 1m30 tall to drive a kart (usually around age 7-8), we have 8 junior karts for this. For the adult karts, you’ll feel most comfortable from about 1m50. Importantly, a junior kart can go just as fast as an adult kart during the same session. Children under 1m30 can enjoy our mini karts from age 3, accompanied by an adult.

Log in with your Experience ID and book an Overdrive session on Monday evening. Guest checkout is not available for Speed 5: the system first checks that a Gold licence is attached to your profile.

No. Once earned, your Gold licence stays valid. It lives on your Experience ID, so you will find it in the app and on your online profile.

Yes. A Gold licence is valid at both venues. If you earned it in Eupen, you can drive Speed 5 in Antwerp straight away, and the other way round.

About two seconds a lap. The track record in Speed 5 stands at 1:04.500, the Speed 4 record at 1:06.500. In Speed 5 the motor spins around 300 rpm higher.

Not at the moment, we currently have no competitions in Speed 5. We may organise some in the future, so feel free to follow us on social media to keep up with our latest news.

The Gold licence is awarded if you complete 3 laps under 1:10 within the same session. If you manage it, just come to the reception desk to claim your licence. Once you have it, you’ll be allowed to drive in Speed 5.

To keep the experience optimal for everyone, we use a licence system. The best-known is the Gold licence, which unlocks Speed 5, earned by hitting a lap-time quota (3 laps under 1:10) during Speed 4 (Race) sessions. There are two more: Bronze, awarded to children who hit a quota during Start sessions (3 laps under 2:00), letting them move up to Fun sessions even if they’re under 10; and Silver, awarded to children who hit a quota during Fun sessions (3 laps under 1:25), letting them move up to Race sessions even if they’re under 14. Licences aren’t automatic, after your session, just ask at reception whether you’ve qualified. If so, it’ll be activated for your next visit.

We have 4 speed levels, and each one has its own capacity on the track.

Start (Speed 2): from 1.30 metres and compulsory for every child under 10, with up to 16 drivers in a session. Accompanying parents and adults drive at the same speed, keeping the focus on the kids’ experience.

Fun (Speed 3): from age 10, or younger with a Bronze licence, and compulsory for anyone under 14. Up to 28 drivers in a session. A decent pace for casual drivers who are there to enjoy themselves.

Race (Speed 4): from age 14, or younger with a Silver licence. Up to 32 drivers in a session. Noticeably faster than most tracks, so it is best to have driven a kart several times before trying it, even as an adult with some driving experience.

Pro (Speed 5): reserved for drivers holding a Gold licence, earned by meeting a lap-time quota during Race sessions.

A session starts at 30 minutes, enough to find your technique and play a first game. An hour gives your group the time to run a full tournament.

Up to 30. The lanes are arranged as three double lanes, one group per double lane, with up to ten players on each.

Three groups therefore throw in parallel, and within a group everyone takes turns: for safety, only one person is in a cage at any moment.

An hour of axe throwing costs €28 per person, or you can start with a 30-minute session for €14.

No, you’ll pick it up quickly. We recommend starting two-handed (raising the axe above your head), and once you’re comfortable and can throw with good balance using your dominant hand, you can move to one-handed throws.

Yes, a supervisor is present at the start of each session to explain how it works. Despite the impression it gives, axe throwing is a low-risk activity: each lane is a separate caged area with an anti-rebound floor, and only one person is ever in a cage at a time.

You must be at least 14 years old to try axe throwing.

Axe throwing is like darts, XXL-style: you hold an axe, aim at a target, and try to hit it. What makes it unique here is the interactive games projected onto the targets and automatic scoring, no more paper, pencils or manual maths, everything’s tracked automatically.

A darts session starts at 30 minutes. An hour gives you the time to work through several of the four games.

We provide the darts. Everything you need is waiting at the lane, so you only have to turn up and throw.

We advise interactive darts from 14 years up. Below that age, throwing comfortably at a full-height board becomes difficult.

Cameras read where every dart lands and work out the score in real time, so nobody has to keep count on paper. The standings appear on the screen above the board while you play, and at the end of each game you get a video replay of the last action.

Steel tip darts on professional bristle boards, the same set-up used in competition play. That is what gives the throw its real feel, unlike the plastic soft tips found in most bars.

Yes, and the kart does most of the work.

Braking is automatic: the child only has to lift their foot off the pedal and the kart slows down on its own, so there is nothing to learn before setting off. The adult riding along has a safety button within reach for anything unexpected.

The kart is wrapped in shock-absorbing bodywork designed to prevent karts from riding up on each other, and the mini track is built to the same safety standards as our main circuit.

They are real karts, 100% electric and built by a specialist kart manufacturer, only scaled down. Each one seats a child and an adult together, so a parent can ride along and help steer.

The acceleration is deliberately smooth and progressive, the wheelbase is short and the turning circle tight, which makes them easy to handle for a first time behind a wheel. A sound module gives the electric motor the noise of a real race car, which is usually the part the children remember.

A 5-minute mini karting session costs €6.

Mini karting doesn’t require a reservation. We have 6 mini karts and each session lasts 5 minutes, so waiting times are usually short.

Mini karts easily support the combined weight of an adult and a child. For very young children, we recommend a parent rides along; once they’re confident, kids can ride solo. As soon as they reach 1m30 tall, they can move up to the main karts.

From around 2-3 years old, a child can ride a mini kart as long as they’re accompanied; from about 4-5 they’re usually able to ride on their own.

We use a credit system: €17 gets you 30 credits, and each game costs between 1 and 5 credits to play, depending on the machine.

We have more than 40 arcade machines, air hockey, motorbike racing, claw machines, Need for Speed, Halo, basketball and more, something to keep everyone entertained.

Yes. All teambuilding activities are indoor, inside our 15,000 m² venue. Rain, wind or heat therefore have no impact on your program, and no bad-weather alternative is needed.

Yes. We regularly welcome international teams, and a fully English-language program is possible. Depending on the activity, hosting is available in Dutch, English and French.

A teambuilding does not have to revolve around karting. Colleagues can choose Time Mission, interactive darts, karaoke, the quiz game, boxing, the bar games or the gaming arcades, among others. Within one group, different teams can also follow different activities.

Depending on the package chosen, a teambuilding usually takes about 1.5 to 3.5 hours, from arrival to departure. Discovery includes two activities, Epic three and Legendary four; registration, briefing and the activities themselves are all part of that time. If you book a single activity, also allow for registration 30 minutes beforehand and, for karting, a safety briefing: a 14-minute kart session therefore means about an hour on site. Catering, a meeting or a presentation can be added to turn it into a half or full company day.

Experience Factory Antwerp is open seven days a week and closes at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 10pm on the other days. Doors open at 11am at weekends, 2pm on Wednesdays and 4pm the rest of the week. Hours can shift around public holidays, so check the site for the exact times on your date.

The quiz game seats four to twelve players on six consoles, and Time Mission runs teams of two to five through 25 interactive rooms in an hour. None of them involve a steering wheel, and the bar with its cocktails and mocktails is on the same floor.

Most bachelor groups spend two to five hours on site. A Discovery pack of two activities takes two to three hours, Epic with three activities three to four hours, and Legendary with four activities four to five hours, registration and briefing included. Add a group meal or a long stop at the bar and the evening runs longer.

There is no real minimum: packs can be booked from one person, although some activities have their own minimum, for example 4 places for the quiz or karaoke. A typical bachelor group of ten to thirty fits without being split up, because 32 karts run on the track, the axe lanes take 30 throwers, the interactive darts 48 players, and the karaoke rooms and the quiz room are booked for your group alone. Yes. Every activity pack includes free arcade credits for children under 14: 12 credits with Discovery, 24 with Epic and 36 with Legendary. They are spent on the 40+ arcade machines, from the Need for Speed and Super Bikes simulators to air hockey, basketball hoops, Alley Bowler lanes and the claw machines. Arcade credits can also be bought on their own.

For the youngest, yes: mini karting is done with an adult from 2 to 3 years old, and Time Mission requires an accompanying adult up to age 13. Beyond that it is up to you. Many parents book the same pack and play along, others wait at the bar, which looks out over the karting track. Every participant in karting, axe throwing and Time Mission needs their own Experience ID, whatever their age.

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own birthday cake, and we charge €1.50 per person for the service and the use of our facilities. We also set up a decorated table for the birthday child. Apart from the cake, outside food and drinks are not allowed, still water excepted, because everything else is served on site.

From about twelve, the karting track is the usual answer: 1.1 km over three levels, and a junior kart from 1.30 metres is just as fast as an adult kart in the same session. Axe throwing opens up at 14 and interactive darts is advised from 14. The quiz game, the karaoke rooms, Time Mission and the 40+ arcade machines have no age limit at all. Lap times and the Bronze, Silver and Gold licences are saved on each teenager’s own Experience ID, so their level carries over to the next visit.

From about 2 to 3 years old for mini karting with an adult, and from about 4 to 5 on their own. The main karting track starts at 1.30 metres tall, usually around 7 to 8 years old. Time Mission is from age 6, accompanied up to 13. Axe throwing is from 14, and interactive darts is advised from 14. The quiz game, the karaoke rooms and the gaming arcades have no minimum age, so in a group of mixed ages everyone has something to join.

A children’s birthday party is priced per person through one of our packs: from €39 for two activities, €59 for three and €79 for four. Under-14s receive free arcade credits with every pack, and packs are cheaper during off-peak hours. If you bring your own cake we charge €1.50 per person for the service and the use of our facilities.

There’s no strict minimum or maximum, group size depends mainly on which pack and activities you choose. On the karting track a children’s birthday runs in a Start session (Speed 2), which takes up to 16 young drivers and is compulsory under 10, or in a Fun session (Speed 3), which takes up to 28 and is compulsory under 14. Race sessions are for drivers of 14 and over. Elsewhere the quiz game needs at least 4 players and our karaoke rooms fit 8 to 16 people. For larger groups, just get in touch and we’ll tailor the programme and time slots.

Plan for at least two hours on site, depending on the pack you choose, it can stretch to a half-day.

Yes. The Car Expo is open 365 days a year, with no ticket and no reservation. Anyone who walks into the venue can see the cars.

Thanks to our relationships with local partners, we have 3 car boxes showcasing exceptional or for-sale vehicles. These car boxes are also available to companies wanting to showcase a car, or any other standout item, for a promotion or teambuilding event.

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of your first activity. That time covers registration at reception and, for karting, the safety briefing, so your session can start on time. This applies to every activity, from karting to karaoke. Creating your Experience ID online in advance saves time at reception, but the 45 minutes still apply.

The difference is the number of activities. Discovery includes two activities of your choice (one main + one social), Epic three (two main + one social) and Legendary four (three main + one social). Main are karting and Time Mission; social are axe throwing, interactive darts, karaoke, quiz and the gaming arcades. Every pack starts from €39 per person and can be booked from one person; some activities do have their own minimum, such as 4 places for the quiz or karaoke. A fully tailor-made program is also possible.

Online bookings can’t be cancelled. However, if you let us know far enough in advance, so we’re not needlessly blocking the slot for other guests, we can usually modify your booking. You can find our general terms and conditions of sale here

Yes. Experience Factory Antwerp is set up for large teambuildings and corporate events of up to 750 people. For large groups we spread participants across several activities running at the same time and put together a tailor-made program.

Booking ahead is always recommended so you get the time slot that suits you best, some sessions (like ‘Start’ karting slots for younger kids) only run at specific times of day, so the more specific your plans, the more it pays to book. That said, you’re never obliged to: walk-ins on a spur-of-the-moment visit are just as welcome.

No, you do not have to. We do strongly recommend it: Overdrive evenings are usually full, and whoever books online with their Experience ID is sure of their seat.

Overdrive is not part of a pack. You can drive a pack first and then book Overdrive as a standalone formula.

You drive two blocks of 28 minutes, each one two sessions back to back, with a half-hour break between the blocks. The evening starts at 7 pm and runs until 10 pm.

Better not. The track is usually full, up to 32 karts, and the pace is high. Twice 28 minutes in one go is physically demanding too. If it is your first time, start in Speed 3 (Fun). Once you are comfortable in Speed 4, you are welcome in Overdrive.

Yes, the Overdrive deal is also available in Speed 5, but on Mondays only.

The Overdrive deal is available on Sunday and Monday evenings only, from 7 pm in both cases.

Yes, on Sunday and Monday evenings we run our Overdrive deal: 4 sessions (2 x 2 back-to-back sessions) for €47. Please note that these sessions are not recommended for inexperienced drivers. They are usually fully booked (32 drivers) and mostly attended by regular, experienced racers.

Yes. The same Experience ID works at Experience Factory Antwerp and at Experience Factory Eupen, so you do not create a second profile when you visit the other venue. Your wallet credit follows you too: you can top up at one venue and spend it at the other.

On the login screen, enter the e-mail address or the racer name you registered with. If the password does not come back to you, use the “Forgot your password?” link on that same screen. If you are still stuck, reception can find your profile with your name and your date of birth.

No. The safety check-in is required before your first visit and it stays on your Experience ID afterwards. You can complete it online while you create your Experience ID, which means it is already taken care of when you arrive. It is a separate thing from the safety briefing given on site by the track marshal, which still applies every time.

Both live on your Experience ID, so you see them in our app and on your profile online. Your Bronze, Silver or Gold licence is attached to the same profile, which is why your level follows you from one visit to the next.

For karting, axe throwing and Time Mission, yes: every participant has their own, whatever their age. It is also what carries a child’s licence. Bronze is earned during Start sessions and opens up Fun sessions, Silver is earned during Fun sessions and opens up Race sessions, and both are attached to the young driver’s own profile.

The wristband is linked to your Experience ID. You hold it against the readers to start an activity and to pay from your wallet, so you do not have to carry a card or your phone around the venue. You keep it, so bring it back on your next visit. If you prefer, the QR code in our app does exactly the same thing.

No. It is free and there is no subscription. You only pay for the activities you book.

Online on our Experience ID page, or on a kiosk at reception. You are asked for your last name, your first name and your date of birth. Creating it at home saves time at reception on a busy day, and it lets you complete your safety check-in in advance.

It depends on the activity. For karting, axe throwing and Time Mission every participant needs their own Experience ID, because that is where the safety check-in is signed and where the results are recorded. For the arcades you need one to play. For pool, one Experience ID in the group is enough, since that is what the table is paid with.

From 100 people we put together a tailored proposal, from a sushi stand to a food-truck festival. On arrival you choose an aperitif; drinks then run on account with a wristband, or as a package with an agreed budget, a start and end time and a chosen drinks category.
